September 8, 2024 Purple Songs Can Fly's new Going Gold song, "ALL THE GOLDEN THINGS", will be featured at the 4th World Health Organization's Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer (GICC) at the National Cancer Center in Tokyo, Japan.

October 25, 2023 - Purple Songs Can Fly Japan Branch will officially launch in Tokyo, Japan. with Purple Songs Can Fly Founder/Executive Director, Anita Kruse and Purple Songs Can Fly songwriter, engineer, Annalisa Cuano, traveling to Japan to facilitate.

September 17, 2023 - HOPE CAN HAPPEN, our new musical and sequel to JOURNEY TO HOPE, will be performed LIVE at UNITY OF HOUSTON, in the pyramid.

September 30, 2022 - Purple Songs Can Fly Honored and named as a Finalist for Compassionate Houston's Artist of the Year Luncheon Event at The Briar Club.

March 2020 - September 2022 – All public events postposed due to the COVID19 pandemic.

Fall 2019 – Our award winning documentary,  Journey to Hope, will be screening in new locations in the U.S. and abroad. 

​April 7, 2019, 3:00pm – WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival held a live screening of  Journey to Hope, the award winning documentary from Purple Songs Can Fly, at Cinemark Theaters in Memorial City Mall.

 

March 22-24, 2019 – Purple Songs Can Fly participated in the first Spanish language "Retreat of Renewal" held by Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Centers.

 

February 22-24, 2019 – Purple Songs Can Fly participated in the "Retreat of Renewal", an annual bereavement retreat held by Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Centers.

 

February 2, 2019 – Purple Songs Can Fly participated in the 23rd Annual Remembrance Breakfast at Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Centers.

 

June 2, 2018 – Purple Songs Can Fly premiered its documentary "Journey To Hope" at Zilkha Hall at the Hobby Center in Houston.

 

February 23-25, 2018 – Purple Songs Can Fly participated in the "Retreat of Renewal", an annual bereavement retreat held by Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Centers.

 

November 15, 2017 – Purple Songs Can Fly held a donor event at the home of Charles and LIsa Cusack.

 

November, 3, 2017 – Purple Songs Can Fly held a ribbon-cutting event to open its new recording studio at Texas Children's West Campus near Katy, TX.

 

September 16, 2017 – Purple Purple Songs Can Fly launched its first children's book, "Purple Song" at the River Oaks Bookstore.

 

August 23, 2017 – Purple Songs Can Fly shared Mia’s song, “God Help All The Kids On The Planet” with the 5 crew members aboard the International Space Station from the Mission Control Room at Johnson Space Center.  This collaboration was a part of NASA’s Global Spacesuit Art Project, UNITY.
